well i have a sansa mp3 and i was uploading songs on it then when i was done i disconnected and the mp3 player says that its Refreshing Database well its been doing that for a long time now and it wont go to the mp3 menu all that stuff so i think that it ****** up somewhere so is their a way i can reset this mp3 player because i couldn't find a reset button. Please and thank you
Sansa mp3 problem?
Okay.. to reset it do this: Move the hold button on top over till you see orange. Press and hold the 'record' button and turn it on. You'll notice the screen says welcome to recovery mode.
Connect to computer using the usb cable. Now.. from here you can do one of two things. If you've downloaded Sansa's Updater from Sandisk.com, you can update the firmware (or check for updates) or you can just disconnect it by clicking on the 'safe to disconnect' icon in the taskbar on your computer.
