Burning MP3's to CD's to use in Car Stereo?

Hi Im about to buy a Pioneer CD/MP3/WMA Tuner for my car. Not sure of the model number but i guess most players probaly work in a similar way.

I want to burn my MP3's to CD's to use in the car. Of course you can fit many MP3 albums on 1 CD. Do I have to put all the songs straight on the cd in the root directory of the cd or can i make album or artist subdirectories and drill through the directories to get the song i want? Any help appreciated - i dont wanna burn unasable disks.

You can make folders by the artist name and put the files in there.

I recommend you use at least 192 kbps with mp3's to have good sound quality. Contrary to what a lot say, 128 kbps isn't CD-Quality.

Another tip is to use "normalizer" software on your mp3's. This levels out the volume of each file so some aren't really soft and others loud.
Reply:Some head units can browse through folders containing mp3 files, and some can't. Just try out both ways as you will not be burning unusable disks, just making new coasters.
