Nice .wav and .mp3 editor?

Can you please recommend a nice .wav and .mp3 editor, that'll let me remove a part of a mp3 file and save it as a new mp3?





What i'm saying is, something that will let me extract, say, the 1:20 to 2:00 minutes portion of a mp3 file and let me save it as a seperate one.
