What's better a Ipod or a MP3?





Like I already have an Ipod,so my question should be what does an MP3 have that a Ipod don't?

Reply:Mp3 player are cheaper, and you don't need to use Itunes. Itunes is bad because it craps out a lot. Also you won't be able to transfer files from your Ipod to your computer easily.

Reply:mp3s usually have longer battery life (like the samsung u3) and better storage/sound for the money. ipods are more expensive, but have many more features. mp3s are better for music-only lovers, while ipods are better for music+vid+pic+etc lovers.
Reply:many players in the same price range have fm tuners and voice recorders


excluding the ipod touch, ipods can't do anything real special that other mp3s can do. some even have playback speed control (mp3)
