Mp3 player problem?

when i plug the usb cord in my computer my mp3 player rarely turns on. if it does most of the time it will turn on and off repeatedly then i have to reformat it, deleting all my songs -.- But when i use the direct usb port thingy on the mp3 with my computer it turns on, but the computer does not even detect it no message pops up at all, plz help, i miss hearing scatman =(

Mp3 player problem?
You might have to reinstall the whole thing from scratch. See if you could locate the CD that came the mp3 player and go through the whole installation wizard thing.





Make sure before unplugging your mp3 player from the USB port to properly eject it from the desktop.





I know with mine I have to right click and select EJECT MP3 player.

Reply:Try pluging it in, and going to "my computer" and see if you see it on there and there is sometimes an icon on the bottom bar of your computer screen in the bottom right-hand corner, and if that doesn't work ask the place where you got it from and if they don't have any advice get a new one.
