MP3 player or Ipod?

I have an mp3 player but considering getting an ipod, my mp3 player has only 1gb. Does the ipod have anything special that another brand mp3 player doesnt have?

I think the iPod is just a fancy-shmancy product. It is only popular because more people own one. It plays videos, yes but so does some mp3 players. There are a lot of accessories but they are quite useless: bunny case for $44.00 ??? Just ridiculous. Some other great mp3 players I recommend are SanDisk Sansa e200 series and Creative ones because they play videos, have the ability to look at photos, FM radio and voice recording. One thing you don't want to do: Blend with the usual. Try another thing. Also, some mp3 players have memory card slots to increase its memory.
Reply:I believe the iPod has way better sound quality than other mp3 players. It's the top music player on the market. The iPod has many different sizes like the one i have, 30gb

Reply:i used to have a creative mp3 player.. but recently got an 80gb ipod.. there is a huge difference in ease of use, sound quality and computer integration.. ipod is by far better.. you can also put dvd's on the new ipods. I'd definitely recommend it

Reply:No, an iPod is just an mp3 player, made by apple! Its a competition of the makes, yes iPods are more popular but its whether you want one. Its all personal choice.

Reply:an ipod is an mp3 player. the video ipods can also play videos. so unless u want video or more space, dont get an ipod. but they look nice and nice scroll.
