Why does my mp3 player play both mp3 and wma but when i put a mp3 song it sounds all messed up?

my mp3 player takes mp3 and wma music but when i put mp3 files it sounds messed up?

It all depends if you're downloading the mp3 from P2P programs or if you're converting a CD to mp3 format. If you know a little something about converting wave files to mp3 you should adjust the settings on the bit rate to make the mp3 higher quality. Anything 128 kbps and above is good. The better quality format is 160 or 192 but they take up a little more space in the mp3 player.

Reply:When your saving your mp3 file, make sure your compression setting is correct. Mine by default always goes to mono.(8.000kh) Then I change it to 48.000kh 16 bit stereo.
