Load MP3's onto an Ipod nano?

I used to be able to drag and drop MP3's into itunes and then sync my ipod. But now it is not allowing me to do it. I have some MP3's on my computer. I tried drag and drop %26amp; import but neither seems to work. What am i doing wrong. I also tried opening the MP3's using ITunes. That doesnt work either. I can play the MP3's using the windows media player. Please help!!!

you could also go to file%26gt;import then get the file that way. Also, some files are protected and aren't able to be put on iTunes. In order to add them, burn them to a disc on another media program, then import them.

Reply:In iTunes, go under "file" and then to "add file to library". Select the files and they should add into your library.
