Is my MP3 broken? :'(?

ok so i was puttin more songs into my MP3 and than i pressed sufle and it said deletin all files and i was scared it was goin to delete my songs on my M3 so i removed the USB cord connected to the MP3 and than i couldnt turn my MP3 off or d anything. so i removed the batteries and when i turned it on there was no songs in it :(


and then i tried puttin my songs back in and i did get them back and when i pressed play it just froze. did i break my MP3?

but try formating it


by pluging it in and in my computer there should be an icon for the player and if not then something that identifies it as being an mp3 player


then you could left click on it and select format or you can double click and if something else comes up then left click and select format
