MP3 unsuccessful CD ripping?

I just purchased a Phillips SA2325 MP3 today, went through the whole procedure of ripping (4X now), and each time I go to try out the MP3 and it says "no songs found" "folders empty". Where are these tracks going to? "E" drive is working. Each time I have ripped a CD I have stated the artist's name etc. I know the MP3 works, as the Radio plays. Wonder what I am doing wrong?

MP3 unsuccessful CD ripping?
That person above is incorrect. Ripping is copying a disc to your computer. Burning is copying files to a disc.

Besides that, it is difficult to see what exactly you are doing. What do you mean by MP3? A disc, file, or player?

What is it you are trying to have accomplished?

Just make sure you are putting everything in the right place. For example, if you are ripping from a disc, save the files to a folder you know and can check to see if it really is ripping. If you are burning to a disc, make sure you follow the proper procedures. If you are copying to a player, make sure you are following the steps for that too.

Good luck!
Reply:ripping means that ur burnin it to a CD
