Mp3 or mp4 player?

ok well i currently bring my sony ericsson walkman phone to school and use the mp3 player on it. cause i travel for over 2 hours a day and its boring.





so anyways i wanna buy a mp3 or mp4 player to bring to school instead. cause i'd rather that be robbed or confiscated than my phone.











what mp3 or mp4 should i buy? (ie: ipod, sony, philips ect...)





tell me which one in your opinion is the best?








PS: Don't care how much it costs, there is no price limit. if it looks good and i like it i'll buy it.

If you're looking for entertainment for your commute, the WiFi on the iPod Touch won't be much use to you - but it IS still a cool gadget. And it can hold about 1500-2000 songs for the trip(s), plus works very well for downloaded videos, TV shows, etc.





If you have a HUGE Music Library, probably would want something like the ipod classic - lots of room for music, downloaded videos, podcasts, etc. You could load it up, and not hear the same music for days and days (months?)





If you have a limited Music collection, the Sansa E280 is an alternate way to go. Use the money you save ($100-$200) to subscribe to Napster-to-Go or Rhapsody-to-Go. Download a fresh batch of tunes from their huge libraries, and change them whenever you get bored.

Reply:I think there is a lot of misunderstanding about mp3/mp4 players. Mp3 players often play wma files as well, and most video files are not even in the mpeg 4 format. Since you are not on a budget, this one looks nice:
