Mp3 USB 2.0 not responding in windows 98 SE. why?

im using windows 98 second editon. i bought this mp3 player with USB 2.0...but when i plug in the USB cable into my computer it won't respond. the manual of the mp3 player that i have bought says that windows 98 SE need to install a driver. then a few months later. i work on to install the driver..and i searxh the manual book in my whole house..but i couldn't find it.perhaps it was lost. so wat to do? how am i suppose to know who is the real manufacturer of the driver to install the driver?

Win 98 just barely supported USB1. We used to refer to it as Unsupported Serial Bus. There are no reliable USB 2.0 drivers for Windows 98.
