I am getting a new MP3 player, and I was ripping CDs last night. I realized that someone had changed the setting on my Windows Media Player. Now my WMA files are the highest quality and the biggest files.
How can I switch them to MP3 files without ripping everything al over again? I would like to conserve as much space as possible on my 4GB MP3 player.
~THANKS!~
WMA --%26gt; MP3 for new MP3 player?
You are asking to convert a lossy format to another lossy format. Not recommended but doable.
If your player is compatible, use VBR (variable bit rate) encoding. If your player supports WMA use that as its quality is much better at any given bitrate.
The following is a link to a popular and free WMA%26gt;MP3 converter.
