I have a ipod and my girlfriend has a sony mp3 player. She was looking for a song but the only place we could find it was itunes store. If I burn the song onto a cd then rip it to my windows media player will it come up as an mp3? If not, how else can I change it to an mp3?
Mp3 and mp4 ?
Your ipod might be storing the files in AAC format (that's more compressed than mp3 but requires special license that Apple %26amp; few other vendors have). You can read the song from ipod or any other device into your itunes, change your itunes settings to make it mp3 (In itunes, chose edit - preference - advanced - importing - Settings) by selecting "Import Using" using mp3 encoder.
mp4 is typically used to store highly-compressed videos (for songs mp3 would do).
Reply:just go 2 this site and download the software and use it to convert the file
Reply:Absolutely. Just do that and it will work.
